OHAKUNES PREMIUM HOLIDAY HOUSES
We have 3 houses built on a 2550sqm property, all with views of the mountain from a spa pool at each property. The smallest house is 143sqm and the second two are 154sqm, this excludes covered entertainment spaces and carports.
We can accomodate 5-12 guests in a single house, through to group accommodation 36 guests across all 3 homes.
Located 250 meters as the Crow flies, or a 400m walk, to the famous Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park that houses a great variety of playground equipment, biking and 'tough kid' challenge course. There is also a shuttle service that runs up the mountain, for a day on the slopes hiking or skiing.
Walk another 400m and you're in the centre of town.
Ohakune, best known for Turoa ski field in the winter, is also very popular in the summer, with a number of walks up and around the mountain, or mountain biking the old coach road and beyond.

COMFORT
Each house consists of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with at least 1 King and 2 Queen per house. The additional rooms contain an entertainment room for the kids with a sleeper couch and bunks and then another bunk room. Open plan living with luxury furniture and designer kitchens and all have a view of the mountain & a Spa Pool each.
Dry room for your snow gear and a heat pump to dry them.
EV FRIENDLY
We ourselves drive an electric car so we know how important it is to be able to charge overnight
Equipped with a Tesla Type 2 Destination Charger; a Caravan power point & a standard 10A outdoor plug, you can rest assured we can support just about any Electric Car.
SOLAR / BATTERY
To complement the EV sustainability approach, we have installed 8kw of solar on each property and a 13.5kw Tesla battery (coming soon); we just about push more to the grid each month than what we import.
ABOUT US
We're a family that loves to holiday around New Zealand. We've been lucky enough to purchase a few pieces of land in the places we love and build the dream holiday houses in locations we love. Ohakune is a place where we holidayed as kids and now we're sharing that with our kids and likely the kids of many of our guests.
We are a clean green kiwi family that likes to know we're doing our bit for the environment, so we drive an Electric car and have solar and battery on all of our properties, to ensure we take less than what we give back.
